The remarkable thing is that the embroidery along the both narrow ends faces one side of the shawl while that along the long edge of the shawl faces the reverse side of the shawl!
The woven yellows in the end also add a very special contrast.
Clearly the creator emptied his / her soul into this piece while making it!
