363 Antique Silver Kohl Kajal Vessel

Used for making Kohl / Kajal / Meys

This receptacle is held over a flame (usually castor oil) so that the soot particles collect on the silver.

That soot is then used as kohl.

Used in homes until the mid-1900s in an era when everything one consumed was home made.
