1356 Antique Kashmir Finely Crafted Silver Tea Service - Masterpiece

Superfine Solid Silver Tea Service with Arabesque-inspired gracefully flowing Chinar Leaf & Vine patterns

The shape of each of the 3 vessels is also elegantly graceful in which each element -  the handle, the spout, the lid - all  have naturally flowing curves created in perfect proportions.

Note the following details:

- the joint of the spout to the main body of the vessel
- the attachment of the hinge to the top in the shape of a leaf
- the bottom joint of the handle to the main body
- the beveled handles
- the art at the bottom of the spout which could easily have been left plain as it is out of view...
The attention to detail suggest that this is a work of love & passion and that the craftsman has poured his soul into the making of this work of art.

The base on which the vessels stand have larger motifs of the leaf & vine. It has been suggested that a device like a tea-light may be placed underneath to keep the drink warm.

Well preserved - good condition

Estimated to be from the mid 1800s

Perfect for a home-museum!
