Worn by Oracles or priests during ceremonies as part of an extremely elaborate costume. This crown usually sits on top of a hat. The Lama himself paints the piece as a form of his devotional exercises.

Used by the Tantric stream of Buddhists that is followed mainly in the Himalayan Belt - Tibet, parts of Sikkim, Nepal & Ladakh.
