Dies ist als „Patolu“ (pl. „Patola“) bekannt. Diese Art gewebter Seide war eine Spezialität der Gujarati-Weber, bei denen es darum ging, die Kett- und Schussfäden in Mustern zu binden und zu färben und sie dann zusammenzuweben, um auf beiden Seiten des Stoffes ein Muster zu erzeugen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn Indonesien waren „Patola“ für den Gebrauch durch die Elite gedacht.
