Salar Jung Museum - Indian Miniature Painting Collection

The best places to train the eye in any category of art or antiques, are museums and reputed dealers. In a single location a diverse set is viewable. In most cases dating and other details are accurate and so one can draw abstractions about the characteristics of artworks produced in different space-time segments. I am slowly learning about Indian Miniatures and so this walk through the Salar Jung Museum's extensive collection was a treat. Someday I will carefully study all the pictures that I have taken and use that as a textbook to understand this beautiful art.
